ODR Platform

Features and Functions

Features and Functions

Choice of ADR

The platform supports multiple types of ADR including arbitration, adjudication and mediation. When a case is created on the platform the ADR method can be selected and the system is automatically configured specifically for that method. For example, in mediation mode the mediator can be invited by the parties into their virtual break out room by the participants. In arbitration mode this is not possible.

Secure Communications

The platform has its own encrypted messaging system to ensure sensitive information is only securely shared with those involved in the case and so avoids unintentionally copying in people from outside the case.

Reports

Exportable Charts of monthly cases by value and dispute type.

Shared Documents

Documents can be uploaded to the platform for sharing with other participants in the case. There is the option to store documents encrypted. New uploads or downloads generate an alert to other participants. In mediation, documents may be shared confidentially with the mediator.

E-Signature

The platform has an in-built eSignature feature. People signing receive an email alert for them to log into the platform to sign the document. They can either type their name that is converted to a hand written signature or upload an image of their signature. No more scanning documents or using third party signing apps.

Multi-Parties

Platform supports cases involving multiple parties.

Integrated Secure Video Conferencing

The platform’s document management and video conferencing suite are fully integrated. This enables seamless sharing of the same version of a document or bundle with all participants. Virtual hearings can be recorded and available on the platform shortly after the hearing has ended. Break out rooms with access controls easily created and managed.

Multiple Language Interfaces

Available in a wide range of European languages plus Arabic and Hindi. Institutions and sole practitioners can use the system administration of the platform in their language and create a case on the platform that is run in a different language. The interface for the participants in a case can for example be in English but the system administration in Spanish.
